The
leftmost arrow points at Recess Peak, 12813', and five miles away as the
hawk flies. The middle arrow points at Volcanic Knob, 11140' tall and
three miles away. I think that the rightmost arrow points at Mt. Hooper12349',
and ten miles away (which is a hop, skip, and jump from Seldon Pass).
The gently curved humpback ridge to the right of that is Bear Ridge. The
JMT steeply ascends Bear Ridge slightly to the right of where our view
is cut off. This view is can be seen with less detail in the second panorama
shot on Day 6.
