Comments:  I walked up the road past some gigantic Miner's Lettuce to the park sign/map. I was comparing it with my book when I heard a rustling sound. From behind the sign a man appears wheeling a ten-speed. I said Good Morning and he says How are you. A brown leather jacket starts to fall off his bike and I notice he is carrying an overnight bag. He spends the next ten minutes reaaranging things in his pack. He seems well groomed. I get the feeling that he lives in the park. I walk along to Old Stables Trail. The first possible viewpoint is along a cross-wise ridge. That's where this panorama was taken. There were horses grazing in the field to the east of here. The bustle of Highway 1 was clearly visible to the west.
