Comments: In the Fall of 1997 I ranged up and down the eastern Sierra Nevada looking for aspens in peak color. On a hunch, one day I headed up to Green Lake. Green Creek had many aspens turning color. This scene was slightly off the trail, and the entire creekside was bathed in yellow aspenlight.
