Comments: After walking past various people camping along the trail, I found a rocky overlook where you could see the river before it enters the falls itself, and much of the valley. I particularly liked the soft late afternoon light. But I had to rush as I still had a long walk down to the valley floor. I hiked down the trail in record speed with my Leki hiking sticks.
