Comments: December in Yosemite can be very cold, and this day was arctic. After a long walk up Tenaya Creek past Mirror Lake, I had an intuition about the view just beyond some bushes next to the trail. This is that view. I quickly set up my tripod at the edge of a marshy zone and captured the sun's warm light on a very cold place.
