Comments: As chilly as Eagle Lake was, it least it wasn't windy. After hiking up for awhile, the trail passes a wonderful overlook on a rocky outcrop and I stopped to capture this pano. The wind was fierce and I immediately put on all my layers. By the time I was done my hands were pretty cold and I could barely see from the wind-derived tears. I headed out not knowing if it was going to clear up or snow.
