Comments: I drove late into the previous night to wake up near here and get the morning light. Unfortunately the fall colors has pretty much come and gone already. I was the first one to the trailhead today. One other guy pulls up in a Subaru as I'm tieing my shoelaces at the trailhead and mutely goes about his business. I think he's a fisherman and as he starts up the trail I say Good Morning but he barely responds. I follow him uptrail a ways and put on my gloves as it is a very cold morning. Later I see him coming out and it appears he is a photographer too.
