Comments: On the down trail to Velma I encountered very familiar looking terrain -- scattered trees and big rock flats which reminded me of other trips to Desolation Wilderness. Velma Lake was all mine, and I quickly shot this scene and ate my lunch. It was so peaceful here I would have liked to have taken a nap. The sun seemed to be headed down now so I turned around and headed back.
