Comments: The first time through here I thought I saw the greatest viewpoint for a pano on the far side and tried rock hopping using my hiking stick and camera monopod. Unfortunately I slipped and got my boot all wet so I turned back. The rubber tip had come off my monopod. On the way back from Sphinx trail, I saw nice lighting here and decided to try again, The little rocks on the side reminded me of a Japanese garden.
