Comments: I started out very early in the morning and found the main road to Pinnacles from 101 was closed due to storm damage. I went south, then east, then north and came in the eastern entrance. Lots of evidence of the storm there too. A small line of cars was waiting to get in. There were a number of people in the parking lot and I quickly headed up the trail. Wildflowers were everywhere and right away there were interesting rock formations. This is the first one.
