Comments: While I'm standing, capturing the scene, a woman asks me if I'm shooting surfers. Lots of joggers and walkers go by. I shoot some individual shots of the statue. The bench is in honor of Wes Reed. The statue sculptor is Thomas Marsh, the pedestal sculptor is Brian Curtis. The monument was installed in 1992.
