| Kings Canyon National Park has many spectacular and sublime sights, from alpine meadows fed by glaciar clad peaks to towering sequoias to beautiful caves. Kings Canyon is located in the Southern Sierra Nevada, and is accessible from both the west side (primarily from the Fresno area) and the east side (from South Lake, Onion Valley or other trailheads). The combined lands of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks total 864,000 acres -- that's a lot of wilderness to explore! | ||||
