Information on Año Nuevo State Park

Ano Nuevo is an extremely popular destination due to the incredible wildlife here, from elephant seals to avian travelers from far away. Año Nuevo means New Year in Spanish, which is when it was first seen by Spaniards. There are permanent rangers at the park, and a number of restrictions on where you can go and when. Probably best to read the official website or call (reservations are required some times of the year).
