The Virtual Parks Map Library

I've designed these maps that show our public lands' features, campgrounds, trails, roads, and topography using shaded relief. I'm making them available for a nominal fee, which enables you to download an Acrobat PDF file that can be displayed or printed out for your personal use. Due to the amount of detailed information contained in the map, the files are large (1-3MB).

In addition to hiking/biking/trail maps, there are a few miscellaneous maps.

My maps provide a mix of information chosen to be useful to park visitors; including:

  • shaded relief makes it easier to see steep areas
  • topo lines & elevations enable finding height changes
  • cultural features and landmark locations
  • trails shown which are not on USGS topos
  • trail distances (on some maps)
These maps are available for a small fee that helps defray the cost of making them and hosting all the maps on this site. Payment processing is provided by Encryptanet and their Paycloud, which supports payment via PayPal, credit card or a bank account. Once your payment is successfully processed, you will be be directed to a download link at Encryptanet's Paycloud. You will also recieve an email with the link.
