VirtualParks & Full Screen VR

Ever since I started building panoramas, I thought the most enjoyable way of viewing them is to maximize the VR size to fit your screen. So in spring of 2001 I changed the way my panoramas were presented so that they filled up about 80% of your browser window (horizontally). The reason I didn't maximize to 100% was that I wasn't sure older computers could refresh the screen fast enough while panning aaround the scene. Well it's now almost 2003, and I believe most people have fast enough PCs to display full screen panoramas without too much of a slowdown. And if your machine can't keep up, just resize the browser window smaller. You may need to press the "Refresh" button in your browser for the VR window to be resized.

So, if you are wondering what the full-screen VR brouhaha is about, try resizing your browser to take up your entire screen, and then view some of the scenes on VirtualParks. I hope you'll find it a lot more exciting than those postage-stamp-sized windows that everyone used in 1995.
