New Trip posted: 40+ mile loop backpack trip from Lamarck Col thru Darwin Basin, Evolution Meadow, Piute Canyon, Humphreys Basin, Piute Pass, and back to North Lake.

The following are some of the best scenes of my early panoramas, and they have been re-scanned and re-saved with a codec other than Cinepak; and consequently are much improved:

Bishop Pass, my 1000th panorama has been rescanned. I'm happy to say the quality is much improved.

An old scene which for some reason never got uploaded to the site: Willis Canyon in Escalante Staircase National Monument, Utah.

Few panoramas required as much effort to get to the location as Lamarck Col.

One of my favorite scenes, Elk Creek Tributary nr 2 (Headwaters Reserve) had been accidentally filed away without putting it on the website in 1999 when it was shot. So it is now available. It shows the ancient redwood forest with a stream running through it, and lots of ferns and huge trees.

Prior to that, the most recent addition was the Ascent of Mt. Whitney from the west side nr 1
